When will my credit card be charged?

• Your credit card is preauthorized at the time of checkout. Your card is not charged until your order is shipped.  If you use PayPal, your account is charged upon checkout. All items on our site are in stock.  When an item is unavailable we "e;hide"e; it until it is in stock again.  Therefore, we can ship your items within 1-2 days depending on time of order.  Our inventory is always up to date, but there may be a rare instance when an item is out of stock at the time of order, we will let you know by email if this occurs.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

• Only orders shipping to addresses within New York are subject to sales tax.

What forms of payment do you accept?

• We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and Google Checkout and Money Order. Gift Certificates purchased/earned may be used but expire within two years.

What is your shipping policy?

• We currently ship via USPS Priority Mail to the US (including APO/FPO).
• New shipping rates effective 10/1/2012.

• Orders over $65 receive free shipping.  *Effective 1/1/2008.  When your order ships you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email via USPS or Fedex Ground/Home Delivery with a tracking number.
• Orders under 4 pounds generally ship by USPS Priority Mail, all other ship by Fedex Ground/Home Delivery.  *Shipping to HI and AK may incur additional shipping charges for large, heavy items that don't fit in a USPS flat rate box.

Do you ship internationally?

• Sorry, we no longer ship internationally.

• All orders placed by 5pm EST will ship within 1-2 business days.  There is no shipping on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays.

What is your return policy?

• If you are not happy with any purchase we will exchange it or refund your money.

• We will refund you the price of the unopened product upon receiving the item.   Items must be received in new/resalable condition for a refund.  Shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping is the customers responsibility.  Books, magazines and DVDs may not be returned.

• Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to let us know you will be making a return before sending anything back to us. Please contact us via email atreturns@stampingcottage.com to obtain return instructions. Include your invoice number and the name of the product and the reason for the return in your email.  An email with return instructions will be emailed to you. 

• Send your return package via UPS or Parcel Post insured. Carefully package the items to protect the product and include a copy of your invoice. We are not responsible for lost packages that are not insured.
  
  Once we receive your return package, we will issue you a refund for the price of the products you returned (including tax, if any). 
  
  Please allow up to 14 days for us to receive and process your refund. We will contact you via email to inform you that the refund has been issued.

When will my credit appear on my account?

• Credits usually take 7-10 business days from the time we receive your return.
